48-hour World Maths Race for Kids
Students at St. Margaret's Public School in Toronto love to do the math and are competing online in a 48-hour marathon, up against 2 million other kids around the globe.
Many will spend mornings, recesses, lunches and after hours doing hundreds of timed, 60-second quizzes. A few hope to rank among the best in the world in their age groups.
One student, Arash Rafat answered 63 questions in 60 seconds, and got one wrong. Another student, only 7 years of age, at one point answered a whopping 92 questions in one minute.
How many can your child answer correctly in 60 seconds? Try the math problems yourself and see how you do, or use TeachMeWell's online math service which is specifically designed to help your child answer math questions with speed and correctness.
